Touch Me
2023-2024
Touch Me is a portrait series by Alina Cherubin, created over two years across cities including Paris, Mexico City, New York, Berlin and beyond. Through intimate photographs taken in private homes, the project explores femininity, identity, and the boundaries between personal and public spaces. The series later grew into Alina’s first photobook and was presented in a solo exhibition in Berlin in January 2025.

Touch Me captures intimate moments within private homes, exploring femininity, identity, and the subtle boundaries between personal and public life. Each space tells a story, where objects, colors, and arrangements become reflections of the self.
The project also deeply reflects on the body as a home — a place of memory, refuge, and transformation. Through her lens, Alina Cherubin highlights the fluidity of femininity and the deep connection between environment and identity.
